Wade Wilson was a Mutant mercenary known as Deadpool.
Biography[]
Recruited by William Stryker to Team X, Wade Wislon worked with the team for four years before it's dissolution. Following the end of the team, he was experimented on William Stryker for his Weapon XI project. Becoming a monster with his mouth sown, Wilson fought the Wolverine and was promptly decapitated. However, after the fight, he lost most of his additional powers and reattached his head onto his body.

Wilson's only true power were his heightened senses. These allowed him to act faster in a situation than a normal human or mutant would, cutting down several bullets with a sword. As a result of the Weapon XI experimentation he gained optic blasts, teleportation, a healing factor and Adamantium blades. However, the projects would only be temporary and after having his head chopped off he was unable to use most of his powers. He still possessed some degree of his healing factor as he was able to reattach his head.
Deadpool was the greatest mercenary in the universe. A comedic figure, he often boasted and monologued to an unknown audience that existed inside his own head. Although he was skilled with several forms of weaponry, Deadpool's greatest tool was often his dark and twisted humour.
